We love these little guys! What more can be said?

Our introduction started in 1993 when we had to find a pet smaller than a rabbit and bigger than a guppy that our grand children wouldn't squeeze to death with hugs. We needed a pet that was durable enough to survive the family dog and cat. A pet that had the ability to teach trust and respect. The other criteria was that it had to be an easy keeper, fun to watch, loving to hold, simple to feed, something that the kid next door didn't have, could be litter trained, and welcomed by the parents!

Hedgehogs fit everything perfectly. In fact the same grandchildren are still enjoying hedgehogs as pets today!

The purpose of this site is to provide information about hedgehogs that will assist soon to be owners and current owners with methods and ideas to take better care of their little Pin Pals.
